The extra hormones produced during pregnancy cause the intestines to relax and become less efficient - and this can cause of constipation. Missed period This is the first and maybe the most important sign of pregnancy, especially if your period normally is quite regular. Life's all about choices, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do. In the case of experiencing these symptoms, get a pregnancy test or pay a visit to your doctor. Home pregnancy tests are around 97% accurate when done correctly. However, the blood test is more accurate, but not necessarily more sensitive.
